What do I need to bring?

  • It is a good idea to bring an apron to protect your clothing and a jumper if you feel the cold.
  • We will be using hot glass so please dress accordingly - open toed shoes, flowing clothing and very low necklines are not a good idea. Dress for comfort and please ensure long hair is kept out of the way of any open flames
  • If you are already a beadmaker you may want to bring your "essential" tools and safety goggles if you wish although these will be provided on the day anyway.
  • Please bring along any pictures of jewellery that inspires you, it can sometimes help as a starting point.
  • If you have made beads bring them along - we love to see your work. We like to have a bit of show & tell so that Students can look at other peoples work & occasional swaps do happen. By bringing in your work it also gives us a good idea of where you are in your development & can help us create specific projects for individuals.
